A lot of celebrities have been very outspoken about the current problem of immigrant children. Thousands of kids get separated from their families and being placed in detention centers. Because of this, Hollywood has taken a stance against United States President Donald Trump’s immigration ban. From spreading the word to their millions of followers n social media platforms, to really taking action and doing something about this pressing issue, almost every famous face out there has helped in one way or another.
Actor George Clooney and his wife Amal have recently joined their ranks. He has just announced through an official statement that they have donated $100,000 from the Clooney Foundation for Justice to help the Young Center for Immigrant Children’s Rights. This human rights organization has been leading an ongoing fight against immigration and has been trying to protect migrant children when they’re being separated from their families at the border. According to the statement from the Clooney family, everyone who doesn’t take action against this issue needs to ask themselves what they’ll answer their ow children when they’ll ask about the past. In the future, they will wonder whether or not the country really did take babies from their mothers and put them in detention centers.

So, when in the future the answer to their question will be “yes”, they will ask people how they fought against it. Fighting for this cause now will make future children proud of their parents and grandparents. They will know that we fought and did everything we could to stop this. According to Clooney, even if the current administration’s policy cannot be changed, people from all over the world can defend its victims.
This is not the first time that the Clooneys have donated big for a cause. Back in February, they donated $500,000 to help organize the famous March for Our Lives.
