The synopsis for the upcoming and highly-anticipated Avengers 4 movie, the follow-up to this year’s Avengers: Infinity War, has recently been revealed. Even if directors Joe and Anthony Russo are still refusing to offer the official name for the movie, the synopsis reveals something very interesting. There are no plot details in there, of course, but the directors did the same thing with Infinity War and released the synopsis a year before the release. Again, nothing was compromised in that synopsis either.
But let’s recap the events of the recently-released movie. At the end of Marvel’s incredible assemble superhero flick, villain Thanos managed to get all the Infinity Stones on his Gauntlet. He also snapped his fingers, putting and end to half of the entire universe. A lot of fans’ favorite superheroes, including Black Panther, Scarlet Witch, Doctor Strange and Spider-Man turned to ash before their very eyes. Those “deaths” were indeed emotional and unexpected, but fans are certain that they are not going to be permanent. Proof of this stands the recent announcement regarding who will play the villain in the upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel. Peter will not be able to fight Mysterio (Jake Gylenhaal) if he was indeed dead.
Avengers 4 synopsis finally revealed
The official synopsis for the upcoming movie reads:
A culmination of 22 interconnected films the fourth installment of the Avengers saga will draw audiences to witness the turning point of this epic journey. Our beloved heroes will truly understand how fragile this reality is and the sacrifices that must be made to uphold it.
According to many fans, the detail about the fragile reality is a nod to the fact that multiple realities will play a key role in the movie. Maybe even time travel will be involved. As for sacrifices, clearly not everyone will survive and this time, it may be for good. Avengers 4 comes out in May 2019.
