Isn’t it the season to be jolly already? Store windows are beaming with Christmas displays, everyone is preparing to join the race if they haven’t already. Well, if you’re looking to do a little more shopping, be sure to pass by the new Motorola store at 108 North State Street. Dubbed an ‘experimental boutique’ by the Chicago-based company, it will host a large display of smartphones and smartwatches, enticing customers to come take a look.
It may be comfortable and less demanding to check Motorola products online. However, nothing compares to the real life experience of walking into a new store to see, touch and test the smartwatches and smartphones in person.
Bearing the not so flashy name Moto Shop, the new Motorola store is an inviting space providing an interactive environment. Hands-on and sporting dedicated areas for customers, designed specifically to allow for testing, Moto Shop might be able to pitch more wearables and phones just in time to be delivered under the Christmas tree.
In addition to enjoying a prolific shopping season, you might really enjoy the concept behind Moto Shop. Featuring the expected designer displays encasing Motorola’s accessories. Moreover, look for the Moto Maker area that is distractingly attractive for showing off what customization options one has for new devices. Looking for a more high-class experience? Another area of Moto Shop includes jewelry-like cabinets were the Moto 360 Smartwatch resides. Look no further for the customization options of the wearable.
In another corner, a small photo studio will enable visitors to check out camera performances. In addition – and it’s expected it will be a lot of fun – Moto Shop includes an area where one can literally try to smash Droid Turbo 2. Take your pick: there’s a concrete surface, a tile surface, a hardwood surface.
Moto Shop will open its doors on November 7th.
