Avengers: Infinity War has been building up for years, since the first superhero movie of the MCU was released, the original Iron Man. Now, after months of speculation and hype which some fans have taken to an unpreceded level, the movie is finally here. It hits theaters this week but before that, the official red-carpet world premiere took place last night. Also, premiere screenings happened last night in both Los Angeles and New York City. It is a big deal because as far as everyone knows, this has been the first time that the movie has been shown in public.
This was actually part of Marvel’s strategy to maintain the mystery surrounding the movie and avoid any spoilers from becoming public. It has been a successful plan so far, because nobody seems to know details about it. Nobody apart from the people who attended the screenings and who are freaking out on social media right now. Most critics will actually get to see the movie on Tuesday morning, but the review embargo lifts at about 3:00 PM Pacific time. However, we shouldn’t worry about the social media embargo, which was lifted last night, right after the Hollywood premiere with the cast and crew.
People are freaking out regarding Avengers: Infinity War
Had the pleasure of watching #Avengers: #InfinityWar. One of the most unique MCU films, IW has a distinct Marvel/Russo feel, while also bringing a TON of emotional layers, dodging many MCU tropes, & carried by a magnificent villain in #Thanos

I am overwhelmed. The movie is epic beyond compare. LOVED it. My legs are still shaking. It’s a gigantic @Marvel masterpiece. So much to say but I’ll stay Silent Bob til Monday so as not to slip in spoilers. Suffice to say it’s gonna be a looooong year until @Avengers 4… pic.twitter.com/aHnsgj5MK0

Those who have attended the premiere screenings cannot seem to hold their excitement. Most of them immediately went on Twitter to reveal how amazing the movie was, without talking about any spoilers or important parts of the movie. So far, everyone is still safe from the juicy details.
#InfinityWar is a whole lot to process. I liked it a lot, and there’s so much that works, but it definitely is “Part 1.” The ending is amazing and worth the journey, but there is a LOT crammed into its run time. Overall really liked it but need a rewatch already. pic.twitter.com/3P3rd3ojHJ

Most of them loved it and called it “epic” or a “gigantic Marvel masterpiece”. Others praised certain characters from the movie like Thor, Doctor Strange and even the villain Thanos, whom many called “a force of nature”. The movie is reportedly both funny and very emotional and will leave fans eagerly waiting for the second part.
