Google Sprayscape will relieve you of the perfect picture stress as their new camera app will let you take perfectly imperfect photos.
Google, the Internet giant, has long since earned its status as innovator as the company continued to come up with new and adventurous technology.
An example of such technology would be the Android Experiments platform which gave fans the chance to see how new smartphones applications are developed and built. It also encourages interested developers to try out their hand at building Android Experiments.
The company’s newest idea involves the release of the Google Sprayscape. The new app will completely change its user’s perspective of his or her surroundings as it will get mixed, mashed, twisted, and turned.
The camera app is not meant for those who seek to take an accurate photo of what they see and it also doesn’t feature a set of instructions. This seems to make its purpose clear as the user can let his or her imagination run wild and mix and transform one’s surrounding in whatever way they want.
The camera’s options, which will leave you thinking you accidentally stepped into a VR, will allow the user to access a virtual canvas that will give a spray-painted effect to the image before one’s eyes.
It will also come with a 360-degree landscape option which, through the use of the camera’s gyroscope, will place the user in the middle of a bubble and release one’s complete access to his or her surrounding environment.
With numerous options available, a simple series of screen taps will reveal different effects and image distortions. For example, a single tap of the screen followed by a long press will automatically gather the colors and images surrounding the area and merge them into a collage. This seems to resemble the creation process of a Photo Sphere.
A same effect collage will also be hard to accomplish as the camera doesn’t use the same effects and instead, it mixes them up. Putting together images of different, or even the same spot will garner interesting results and will offer perfectly imperfect photos as there is no exact, sole way in which the app should be used.
The innovative camera comes, unfortunately, with some problems as the user has to be careful and make sure that the images have been saved, as the app has a small saving bug.
The photos can be uploaded by a single tap into the users Google Drive which will also generate a link so that photos can be shared and posted.
The Google Sprayscape app is out for Android-based devices, with an iOS version being soon to follow.
