This week’s Comic Con event in San Diego dropped a lot of exciting news so far for fans of fictional universes. So it happens that Noah Hawley was seen at the Legion panel casually mentioning his next movie project.
The public was excited to hear that they are going to see a Doctor Doom movie in the future. While the writer didn’t follow up with further details, he might also get to direct this production not only crafting the tale.
Noah Hawley Has Been Experimenting with the Comic World Though His TV Series, Legion
Noah Hawley built a great reputation for himself in the movie industry through his Fargo TV show that has just ended its third season. He has also revealed his passion for the comic world through Legion.
This TV series has Professor Xavier’s mutant son in center, David Haller. This antihero has to deal with mental conditions that keep putting alternate personalities in control. The amazing part is that each of these personas is in charge of one of his many superpowers.
However, Noah Hawley intends to shift focus from Fantastic Four and make Doctor Doom the main character of the movie. At this point, it is uncertain if the villain gets to interact with the First Family at all.
So far, only Julian McMahonthis and Toby Kebbell interpreted this character on big screens. With Noah Hawley being directly in charge with the genesis of the story, there are hopes for a successful production that rekindles the enthusiasm for this chapter in the Marvel universe.
