It seems that when love is born in Westeros, love cannot be defeated. Just ask newlyweds Kit Harington and Rose Leslie, who, after playing each other’s love interests in HBO’s Game of Thrones, became a real-life couple too. On Saturday, Leslie, who famously played the role of Ygritte until she was killed off, and Harington, who will continue to reprise his role as Jon Snow until the show’s final season which airs next year, officially tied the knot. The happy event took place at Rayne Church in Aberdeen, which is Scotland’s third biggest city.
But apart from keeping their eyes on the happy couple, fans of the hugely popular show were also on the lookout for their guests. The list included a large majority of their co-stars. Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen), Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark), Maisie Williams (Arya Stark), Emmy-award winner Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister), and Richard Madden (Robb Stark), among others, joined them at the event. Clarke plays the current love interest of Kit’s character Jon Snow on Game of Thrones. According to witnesses, the ceremony was gorgeous and very intimate, just how the two wanted it to be.

Leslie came back to her native Scotland to say her vows and wore a beautiful, long sleeved gown mostly made out of lace. She had a very classic look, with flowers in her hair and a long and flowy veil. Harington also looked very handsome in his suit that included a cream vest and striped pants.
The two met back in 2012 on the set of Game of Thrones and dated discreetly for a few years. At one point, they briefly went their separate ways, but found their way back to each other. They announced their engagement in September 2017, in The Times of London.
