The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, have taken part in their first official royal engagement since they’ve become a married couple, just three days after the royal wedding. The newlyweds attended a garden party to celebrate Prince Charles’ 70th anniversary, who is now Markle’s father-in-law, at Buckingham Palace. Meghan turned heads with her beautiful and elegant outfit, a cream dress with long mesh sleeves and a gorgeous, matching hat.
As for Prince Harry, he held an emotional speech about his beloved father who, one day, will become the next King of England. In his speech, he admitted that he has always inspired both him and Prince William through his work. His efforts will surely make a difference one day. Apart from this, the Duke of Sussex also paid a heartfelt tribute to the victims of the Manchester Arena attack which took place one year ago. He thanked the members of the emergency services and said that their bravery saved lives. The royal family also invited a large number of representatives of the police, ambulance, fire, mountain rescue and royal military to take part in the celebrations.

The royals wanted to greet all of them personally and to thank them for their services. Apart from this, one of the celebrity guests at the royal wedding, Late, Late Show host James Corden, revealed that an allergy almost got him in trouble. Right when the archbishop was asking if anyone knows any reason why they shouldn’t get married, Corden was struggling to hold in some sneezes. It would have indeed been the worst moment to sneeze.

Moreover, it seems that the children who took part in the iconic wedding photos were bribed with Smarties, a type of candy that resembles M&Ms. This allowed the photographer, Alexi Lubomirski, to take those amazing photos.
