Academy Award winner Leonardo DiCaprio decided that it was time to reveal the very first look at his and Brad Pitt’s 1960s attire in Quentin Tarantino’s upcoming movie called Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. On Wednesday, the actor unveiled the first official photo from the movie on his official Instagram account. In the photo, the two actors are leaning against some columns and wear very colorful 1960s clothes. The movie will follow fading TV actor Rick Dalton (DiCaprio) and his stunt double Cliff Booth (Pitt) as they are struggling to make it big in Hollywood.
The action takes place in southern California in the late ‘60s against the backdrop of the infamous Charles Manson murders. For Dalton, everything will take an unexpected turn as one of those murders happens right next door, where one of Manson’s most famous victims, actress and director Roman Polanski’s wife Sharon Tate (Margot Robbie) lives. The movie rounds up an impressive cast. Apart from DiCaprio, Pitt and Robbie, Al Pacino Burt Reynolds, Dakota Fanning, Emile Hirsch, James Marsden and Timothy Olyphant also star, among others. Fanning will play Manson family associate Lynette Fromme, also called Squeaky.

The movie is scheduled for an August 9, 2019 release, which will be the 50th anniversary of the infamous crimes that the Manson family committed. It will also be Tarantino’s eighth movie in total and only the first as director since releasing The Hateful Eight, back in 2015. The industry expects this to be on of Quentin Tarantino’s final movies. If we are to believe what he said, he wishes to retire after helming ten features. This might be his penultimate one and nobody knows if a final one will follow.
