It seems that the adult version of the Losers Club that will appear in the upcoming It: Chapter 2 is getting close to being complete. Recently, two more actor have been added to the cast list, which means that we now only miss two adult versions of the Derry natives that will continue to be tormented by the evil Pennywise the Dancing Clown. Last year’s adaptation of Stephen King’s incredibly successful novel was a blockbuster and fans are now eagerly waiting for the second part, which will deal with the Losers Club as adults.
So, recently, New Line confirmed that Allegiant actor Andy Bean is going to portray the adult version of Stan, the only Jew in the group and the one who suffered the scariest encounter with Pennywise in the sewers. Bean will continue to portray the character from where Wyatt Oleff left it, as Stan will be extremely reluctant to come back to Derry to deal with the evil entity for good.
It: Chapter 2 almost completes its adult Losers Club
Actor James Ransone has also been confirmed as the adult version of Eddie Kaspbrak, the hypochondriac that was tricked by his controlling mother into thinking that he was very sick. In the first installment, actor Jack Dylan Grazer portrayed Eddie. Ransone is no stranger to the horror genre, having starred in both instalment of the Sinister series.
As we already know, Jessica Chastain will take over the role of the ginger Beverly Marsh from Sophia Lillis, the only girl in the Losers Club. Chastain has previously worked with director Andy Muschietti in the horror Mama, so she will fit right in. Bill Denbrough will be now played by James McAvoy, a role that he will take from Jaden Lieberher. Finally, Bill Hader will portray the grown-up Richie Tozier, who was originally played by Stranger Things star Finn Wolfhard. Mike and Ben are the only ones left to be cast now, with Bill Skarsgard returning as Pennywise.
